This is an illuminated manuscript written in minuscule script, and ornamental initials executed with brown ink, as well as gold punctuation marks. Among the few large-scale illustrations in the text, the one that stands out is the miniature portrait of the Apostle Paul among other saints (folio 139r) whose iconography is based on standard depictions of Christ among his disciples. The Apostle Paul is surrounded by discs with three-quarters view busts of Apostles Timothy, Luke (?), Jason, and Sosipater holding scrolls. All figures are arranged inside a rectangle with colorful geometric and floral decorative motifs.
